Itinerary
DAY 01: Arrival – Negombo
- Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
- Explore Vacations representative will page you by your name.
- Thereafter you will be assisted to the coach park to begin your journey as per the itinerary.

- Evening visit to the Negombo Lagoon
- If time permits, visit the fishing village & fish market, Dutch Canal.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02: Negombo – Sigiriya
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to Sigiriya.
- Arrive in Sigiriya.
- Explore Local Village Life. Experience the way how local people live. Enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan Meal at a village house.
- Enjoy a Bullock Cart Ride.
- Proceed to the Hotel in Sigiriya. Check in to a hotel.
- Enjoy the nature view.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 03: Sigiriya – Pidurangala – Sigiriya
- Early morning proceed to experience a Hot Air Balloon (Sri Lanka Balloon Rides operated from November to May)
- Enjoy Breakfast
- Proceed to Climb Pidurangala Rock.
Pidurangala is a massive rock formation located a few kilometres north of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka.
- Enjoy the sunset and nature views from the summit of the rock including the Marvellous Sigiriya Rock View.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 04: Sigiriya – Minneriya – Kandy
- Early morning proceed to experience Wildlife jeep safari at Minneriya National Park.
- Return to the hotel and enjoy breakfast at the hotel
- Check out and proceed to
- Arrive in Kandy. Check in to a hotel.
- Witness the Cultural Dance show including fire walking.
- Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and participate in the Pooja ceremony, which safely keeps the Lord Buddha’s Tooth Relic venerated by Buddhists all over the world.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 05: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out from the hotel and proceed to Kandy railway station to catch the train to Nanu-Oya, Nuwara Eliya.
- Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and proceed to hike in Horton Plains National Park.
- Explore the Wildlife.
- Check-in at a hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 06: Nuwara Eliya – Adam’s Peak
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out from the hotel and proceed to Adams Peak.
- En route stop at Lake Gregory. If interested experience the boat ride.
- Continue the journey to Adam’s Peak.
- Arrive in Adam’s Peak and starting to climb the Adam’s Peak in the evening.
DAY 07: Adam’s Peak – Colombo
- Descending from the Adam’s Peak
- Once you come down from the Adam’s Peak, you can start the journey to Colombo.
- En route enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- Arrive in Colombo.
- Check in to a hotel.
- If interested visit Gangaramaya Temple and Galle Face and enjoy the sunset.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 08: Colombo – Departure
- After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Airport.
- Goodbye from Explore Vacations until we meet again.
